Saturday mornings workout was a good one, added some weight to some of my exercises, feels good that I can actually do it :)
We had a family reunion this weekend and it is a camping weekend, I didn't camp but went up Friday night and all day/night Saturday. I was really good, I brought my own food for the whole day Saturday. The only thing I ate from the potluck was some watermelon and carrot sticks, I had cod, a sweet potato and string cheese for my lunch :)
My family is so awesome and supportive, some of them thought I had lost weight. No weight loss here, just have tightened up a lot from all the weight lifting :) They are all very excited for me, some of them are even going to be coming for the show. Again I'm so, so humbled by the huge amount of support I have, to know some of them are willing to travel a few hours just to watch me compete, it's a good feeling :)
Last night was the end of 2nd session for volleyball, we ended up in 4th place for doubles and 3rd place for four's. Not too bad, hopefully in 3rd session we can do better though. I'm sad, next weekend is already the start of the last session for volleyball, how can that be????
I did not get up for my leg workout this morning, I thought I would have trouble getting up this morning. So much sun this weekend, very tiring volleyball last night and I was up late making turkey meatloaf muffins and protein cookies. I could not get myself up and I know my body needed the sleep anyway. So I will be doing cardio on my lunch hour and lifting legs tomorrow. I think for my cardio today I will change it up a bit and add in some burpees for my "rest" on the elliptical cycles, my abs are needing it!
